I not only fell in love with wedding photography in Hawaii, but I also fell in love with the most amazing man. He is beyond the man of my dreams, I could not do what I do with the joy that I have without him. He is my rock and my best friend. Our entire story took place among the bougainvillea bushes, beaches, and busy Honolulu streets. It’s a crazy story, but we chose each other, and every day we get to choose each other all over again. Our love grew on that island, we have two wonderfully zany children, Jovi and Nixon. They are beyond smart and so so sweet. Our island home was everything to us, and saying goodbye was heart wrenching, but we are proud to say that Austin is where we live and love now.

I will be honest, I’m more of a savory girl, but let’s be real— sweets are prettier. But I also believe that’s what desserts do for your wedding day, it enriches the experience. Not only visually but it allows that joy to spark in all our senses. To be honest, I’m more of a savory girl, but let’s be real— sweets are prettier

 One of my favorite things to photograph are flowers and greenery. What delicate and resilient little bursts of life, I can’t get enough. If I am not photographing a wedding or spending time with my family, you can find me among my flowers. I love to garden. To be outside with the sun on my face, birds singing in the sky, my kids running around laughing with joy, and my hands cultivating life—that’s all I ever want. Moments of peace among out among my blossoms.

Austin is home, but it’s  Aloha at heart.
I lived in Hawaii for fifteen years before making the move to Austin. I will tell you right now, Hawaii is as beautiful as it seems and more. It was alluring, I felt drawn and compelled to capture every bit of it, and that’s how I fell in love with photography. Snapping photos of beaches and flowers soon turned into wedding photography.

By diving deeper I'm able to represent your personal relationship and what makes it special.  So if you're looking for an Austin wedding photographer I'd love to be your girl!   

On your wedding day I will be paying attention. From the first look to the last dance and everything in between. The things you choose for your wedding mean something to you and I'll be there to document them. I'll capture the big moments like your ceremony, but also the small ones like your parents crying when they first see you, or when your girls circle around you for prayer. All these moments will be my priority.

I'VE GOT YOU!! Planning a wedding is hard and stressful. I can help. I can give you advice regarding what to bring for details, how to consider lighting through the day, how to structure your timeline, and what works for your grand send off. It's ok if your struggling. I'm here to help when you need it and I will be a support through the whole process. 

I've been married a little over 14 years now. Hopefully this is just the beginning. Marriage  is wonderful, it strengthens you, and challenges you. When you are standing up at the alter reading your vows to one another I'm cheering the whole time. (I might even be crying) because I know that you are entering into something incredibly beautiful.
